Kristen Stewart sure was in a showy mood at the New York premiere of "On the Road."
On Thursday night, the 22-year-old actress hit the red carpet in yet another sheer dress, but she really outdid herself this time. The Erdem frock featured a white satin bra and short-shorts set, which could have used a good steaming to get the wrinkles out, with a sheer panel covering the front. The see-through fabric was embroidered with a feminine vibrant pink and orange floral pattern. Stewart paired the dress with blinding day glow Christian Louboutin pumps to complete the look.
Stewart's version of the dress — which was essentially a bra and panties with fabric on top — was significantly shorter than how the designer showed it on the runway. The original dress length fell below the knee, but Stewart's exposed most of her thighs.
The Erdem dress wasn't the only daring ensemble the "Twilight" star had on yesterday. She also wore a curve-hugging nude striped minidress to "The Daily Show." However, she was a little more modest, covering up with a black blazer. She also had on what appeared to be maroon Dr. Martens boots.

For Stewart, 2012 has been the year of the sheer dress — though this one is by far the boldest one she's worn. In May, she hit the red carpet at the "Snow White and the Huntsman" premiere in a black and sheer Marchesa gown, which showed off her legs, arms, and a little of everything in between. Then in November, making her first major appearance since her cheating scandal, she went nude — well, nude colored — at the Los Angeles premiere of "Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Part II." Her strapless Zuhair Murad gown had sheer panels and a lace skirt, but the bodysuit she had on underneath was on full display, especially when she bent over to sign autographs. Oops! Then a day later she donned Zuhair Murad again for the London premiere of the movie. This time she had on a sheer, sparkly jumpsuit.

For someone whose typical day wear tends to be boyfriend Rob Pattinson's sweatshirts and really worn Converse sneakers, Stewart knows she'll get attention for these daring fashion choices. And, well, mission accomplished.
