A The Masked Singer has earned the competition show even more popularity, meaning there are even more fans trying to guess the identities of the celebrity contestants hidden behind the full-body costumes.

While some seem almost too easy to figure out, others have proven to be a bit trickier, like the Ladybug. A list of confusing clues and a southern accent led judges astray for weeks. But when she was voted off on the Nov. 16 episode, fans and judges finally learned who was hiding beneath the mask: Kelly Osbourne.

Who is Ladybug on 'The Masked Singer?'

During the Sept. 25 premier, the show aired a clip with a few clues about the celebrity underneath the Ladybug costume. The biggest hint is that the celebrity, who seemed to have a southern accent, said she was born into a famous family. “Being born into the limelight, the media was always keeping up with every piece of gossip and family feud,” the anonymous celeb said.

The Ladybug was then shown spinning a gameshow wheel that has several pictures on it: A ham, pumpkin, bridge, dog holding mail, gavel, scorpion, skull, police car, and baseball bat — all of which were clues to the singer's identity.

In the second week, the link to a famous family continued when the Ladybug said in her pre-performance interview that "growing up, everything on the outside looked rosy, but on the inside my world was completely upside down."

This convinced fans that the Ladybug was Kelly Osbourne, though the judges still had no idea.

Osbourne, having two famous parents, was born directly into the limelight, and her family has notoriously had their fair share of drama splashed across the pages of tabloids over the years. Some fans have even been able to connect most of the game show wheel pictures to Kelly and her family.

On an episode of The Osbournes, the family's reality TV show, Osbourne's mother, Sharon, threw a baked ham over their fence into the yard of their noisy neighbor, hence the ham picture on the wheel. The gavel is thought to represent the shows that Osbourne has appeared on as a judge, including Australia's Got Talent and Project Runway Junior. The skull and black baseball bat are likely a references to her father Ozzy Osbourne. Ozzy, whose merchandise often features skulls, once bit the head off of a dead bat while performing on stage. The police car appears to be a nod to her brother, Jack, who appeared on the reality TV show Armed & Famous, which followed five celebrities training to become reserve police officers.

Another tell-tale sign is the fact that older videos of Osbourne singing live show that she has an extremely similar raspy quality to her voice as the Ladybug has.

Finally, the clue video from the Nov. 6 episode panned over a trophy with "Best Host" inscribed on it. Though Osbourne has never won an award for it, Osbourne co-hosted Fashion Police from 2011 to 2015.

When Osbourne finally revealed herself, the judges were shocked. Mainly because the singer appeared to have had a southern accent, which Osbourne lacks.

"She threw her Britishness form day one," judge Robin Thicke said upon the reveal. This was apparently part of Osbourne's strategy, as she worried people who know it was her when she spoke.

"This accent just came out and I had to do it the whole time," she said. "Every single time inside this mask I’ve been laughing."

It was a great plan — we just wish we could have seen her execute it longer.
