Curb your enthusiasm for this: Larry David and Ashley Underwood are officially married, People reports. The creator of cult-favorite Curb Your Enthusiasm and Underwood were married on Wednesday evening in California. The news comes as a surprise as the couple had never announced an engagement.
David and Underwood met back in 2017. The two attended Sacha Baron Cohen's birthday party and David explained in a New York Times interview that Underwood is close friends with Baron Cohen's wife, Isla Fisher. Underwood also worked on Cohen's Showtime series Who Is America?
"We were seated next to each other, I think with that in mind," he said of their initial meeting. "Much to her surprise, I left before dessert. I was doing so well, banter-wise, I didn't want to risk staying too long and blowing the good impression."

David was previously married to environmental activist Laurie David before separating in 2007 after 14 years together. They share two daughters: Cazzie, 26, and Romy, 24. According to GQ, Underwood moved into David's Pacific Palisades home last year.
