Leighton Meester's Take on the Season's Hardest Color Combination Couldn't Have Been Cozier
Blair Waldorf would approve.
Fresh off her Blair Waldorf 2.0 look last week, Leighton Meester is back in yet another stellar 'fit that has the fashion girlies talking. Arriving at the Bosideng show during Milan Fashion Week, Leighton just demonstrated how to stylishly make head-to-toe whites work for unpredictable fall weather (hint: it includes a puffer coat and your favorite chunky knit).
On Sunday, the actress debuted an outfit formula perfect for bracing fickle fall weather consisting of a slouchy white v-neck sweater vest layered underneath a coordinating unbuttoned puffer coat. As for her bottoms, Meester slipped into a pair of high-waisted straight-leg jeans in a cream shade, which she cinched with a silver belt. She teamed her white monochromatic look with black accessories of pointed-toe patent leather heels and a matching handbag.

While her glam was fairly simple, it included a dewy complexion, rosy cheeks, and a glossy pink lip. Leighton styled her hair in soft waves with a tousled forehead fringe, and she accessorized with diamond stud earrings and a cherry red manicure.
Leighton's latest outings have been some of her most fashionable yet. Just last week, she attended Calzedonia’s A Legs Celebration Event in Milan channeling her iconic character, Blair Waldorf. For the event, she wore a super-short A-line dress by Magda Butrym in a pale gray shade with a plunging halter neckline. Thinking, "What would Blair do?" she paired the dress with black tights and matching patent-leather Manolo Blahnik pumps. Skipping a statement headband, she pulled her brown hair back into a tousled bun with wispy forehead fringe and accessorized with a red BY FAR handbag and diamond stud earrings.
