Warning: Spoilers below.

Let's face it: Cersei Lannister wasn't the most loved character on Game of Thrones. Many fans hated her-or loved to hate her-but there's no denying how captivating her single-minded, villainous character was throughout the series. In the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones on Sunday, Cersei went out with a bang-literally-as the Red Keep rocks crushed her and loyal brother/lover, Jaime Lannister, to death. It wasn't how most GoT fans expected Cersei to meet her end (seriously...rocks?) but actress Lena Headey is at ease with her exit, and said goodbye to her character and her castmates in a series of Instagram posts.

"There she goes. It’s been fun, and bonkers," Headey captioned a photo of herself. "I loved her. I am grateful for the opportunity. Massively thankful for your encouraging and supportive love along the way. And now her watch is ended (I know she’d never make it, Nights watch wouldn’t have her .. but still..)"

Headey also showed Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Missandei, love in a separate post, several days after Cersei issued an order for Missandei to be executed in front of Daenerys and Missandei's devoted lover Grey Worm.

"Beautiful @nathalieemmanuel You represented hope and true strength," she captioned a behind-the-scenes photo of her and Nathalie. "I didn’t like that day up there."

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, paid tribute to his on-screen sister as well, sharing a series of silly photos of the two from set. "The best, sweetest most wonderful sister from another mother @iamlenaheadey," he wrote. "That was a fun decade 😘"
