This Levi's x Stranger Things collection is what '80s dreams are made of
Aside from the demogorgons and The Upside Side, Netflix’s “Stranger Things” is known for throwing ‘80s nostalgia in fans’ faces. From “Ghostbuster” Halloween costumes to the Three Musketeers candy bar wrappers to even Fabergé hairspray, the show has perfectly squeezed in every iconic detail and reference from that era in just two seasons. And with Levi’s playing a major role in true ‘80s fashion, it’s no surprise characters regularly sport denim.
For their upcoming season, which premieres on July 4, the “Stranger Things” wardrobe team has teamed up with Levi’s to capture authentic 1985 style with the clothing brand’s extensive archive for costuming.
The Levi’s design team also collaborated with the show’s costume designers to create special looks for two fan-favourites. The two looks include Eleven’s El Pleated Jean and a graphic Camp Know Where Ringer Tee worn by Dustin. Not only will these looks appear in season three, but they’ll also be available for purchase as a part of Levi’s special edition collection in collaboration with “Stranger Things” online and in-store as of July 1.
