You’re never too old to be a little big shot. Just ask the sassy seniors on the all-grownup NBC talent show, Little Big Shots: Forever Young.
In this first look at NBC’s new generation of talent, Little Big Shots host Steve Harvey describes the spinoff show as “the direct opposite” of the popular kid-centric version but adds that it’s still a showcase of great talents who do their tricks just as well as young people — if not better.
With talented performers that range in age from 60 to 103, Little Big Shots: Forever Young features a 91-year-old gymnast, a 77-year-old illusionist, a high-flying grandma (81 years young!), and a guest appearance by TV’s most beloved nonagenarian, Betty White, who makes a cameo on the premiere.
Sure, the kids on the peewee version of the show are supercute, but as Harvey so eloquently puts it, “Old people don’t hold back nothin’.”
Little Big Shots: Forever Young premieres Wednesday, June 21 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
