Love Island’s Faye Winter opens up on "difficult" split from Teddy Soares

Love Island alum Faye Winter has opened up about her "difficult" split from Teddy Soares.

The TV personality took part in the 2021 summer series of the ITV2 show, with her and Teddy finishing in third place. 18 months later, they have gone their separate ways and Faye has moved out of their shared home on the outskirts of London.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: "It's hard because I went into Love Island to purely find someone and I said anything on top of that was an added bonus.

"Obviously it's hard, it's always going to be hard. I've never been in a situation where I've been in a relationship in the public eye and I've had to go through a break-up in the public eye.

"So obviously it's been hard and everything that's been hard in my life post-Love Island, I've always had Teddy there to help me deal with it and visa versa, I've always helped him. So I think that's the hardest part because I can't just ring him and be like 'I'm struggling'.

"That's the hardship of it because its always been us. But at the same time, I'm no longer part of 'Feddy' — this is just Faye and that's always going to be difficult."

Faye has now moved back to Devon and has stated that she's not looking for a relationship at the moment, nor is she going out partying in order to forget about the break-up.

"I'm not one of those girls that's been on a mad party holiday, it's not really in me," she continued. "I'm just concentrating on me and trying to make me the best version of myself."

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
