You probably haven't heard of Maame Biney before, but she made history on Saturday when she became the first African-American woman to make the Olympic speedskating team.

She scored two victories in the 500-meter races, beating Olympians Lana Gehring, Jessica Kooreman, and Katherine Reutter-Adamek in the final. Biney (pronounced bi-nee) was so excited at the win that she began clapping and pumping her arms, causing her to lose her balance and fall over. But luckily, she was able to laugh it off.

"When I realized I made the Olympic team, I started cheering like crazy and then I made my epic fall," Biney said afterward. "So, yeah, you're welcome."
