It’s been a big year for Amy Schumer, both personally and professionally. The actress and comedian got married, released her latest film, “I Feel Pretty,” embarked on an international comedy tour and announced that she was expecting her first child.

Now, Schumer is celebrating the launch of Le Cloud, a size inclusive women’s clothing line she designed with her friend and stylist, Leesa Evans.

Schumer and Evans are gearing up for the release of their first collection of ready-to-wear wardrobe essentials that range in price from $38 to $248 USD. The line, which was designed to feel “as light as a cloud” is currently offered in sizes XS to XXL (0-20), but as Schumer made to mention to fans on Instagram, there are plans in the works to go up to a size 40.

“My instinct is to be authentic and to empower women of all ages and sizes to do the same. We are making beautiful, comfortable and wearable clothing that is accessible to real women. A Le Cloud customer will feel confident and powerful when wearing these pieces. We take our product seriously, but not ourselves,” Schumer told Women’s Wear Daily.

Schumer first met Evans when she was working as the costume designer on her film, “Trainwreck.” The two hit it off and formed a working relationship, which Schumer says changed the way she approached fashion.

“People are so used to fitting way smaller actresses or models,” she said. “If I were doing a photo shoot for a magazine or a fitting for a role I was playing, the clothes didn’t look right or fit right. I was made to feel like my body was wrong. I was so reticent about my fitting with Leesa, and she just approached it in such a different way.”

Feeling good in clothing is Schumer’s top priority when choosing what to wear to a Hollywood event. With Le Cloud, Schumer says the pair wanted to make clothing that worked for every woman, whether on the red carpet, or in the office.

“We didn’t want it to feel exclusive to just people who are making 100 grand a year or over,” Schumer explained. “We made the prices as reasonable as possible, without sacrificing the quality. I think it sends a good message. All my friends are nurses and teachers and mothers. They’re not buying the newest designer stuff. I wanted it to be affordable to people in my actual life.”

Le Cloud will be sold exclusively online at Saks Off 5th starting Dec. 13.
