Brad Kearns, Australian father of two and writer of the blog DadMum, used to get sick of his wife tagging him in posts on Facebook. It seemed like every day she was just trolling the internet looking for random stuff to tag him in, but he eventually realized that those posts might be more important than he thought. He shared his "aha!" moment in a Facebook post earlier this week.

Every day she tags me in stuff on Facebook. Every day. Like several times a day. As if she bounces around the internet...

"I didn't really know why half of it was relevant. But over time I've learned that she tags me in sh*t because it's either funny, insightful, or relevant to us and our relationship," Brad wrote. "Sometimes it helps her tell me something because it's so relevant and she couldn't have said it better herself."

Now that's insightful, Brad. I mean, how many times today have you already tagged people in things that speak to your friendship or relationship?

After Brad came to this realization, he now makes a point of acknowledging every single thing his wife tags him in - it takes hardly any effort, he wrote, and it helps him gauge what she's looking at online and what she may be thinking about.

"Sometimes it forms the basis of our conversations when I get home," Brad wrote. "So often I come home to a 'Did you see that thing I tagged you in?' As silly as it sounds it helps us communicate."

This doesn't sound silly at all! Married couples communicate in tons of different ways. Whatever works for your relationship works.

Brad also wrote that he's learned a lot about how couples communicate through running his own Facebook page. Women will often tag men in his posts, and he said it's hard to watch the men sometimes completely ignore their wives or say something rude in response.

"Women tag men in basically everything I ever post," he wrote. "I always see the same reply of 'I ain't reading that,' or 'too long'.... that's it....The conversation goes no further. Whatever message she was trying to send him was rejected because of sheer arrogance and inability to take a few f*cking seconds to read something that was probably important to how she was feeling. Read the post. Just f*cking read it."

He's starting to copy me when I do things. He loves his daddy, he wants to be like me.When I tickle his mum, he...

He finished by saying that if a woman tagged you in something, she obviously wants you to see it. "Show her you love her," he wrote. "Let her know you care. Read the f*cking post."

I'm officially on Team Brad. Read the post, men!
