In a recent interview with Byrdie, Mandy Moore opened up about a subject that she admitted she rarely discusses: her family. "I've never really talked about this," she said, "but my parents are divorced. My mother left my father for a woman. And both of my two brothers are gay."

The actress, who currently plays a mother of two twin siblings and an adopted son in the new NBC series, This Is Us, talked about her life growing up in an unconventional, but loving family. "My parents loved each other; they did an incredible job raising all of us," Moore said.

At the age of 24, Moore married fellow singer Ryan Adams and says she looked to the marriage as an attempt to find her own sense of normalcy. But, sadly, the two divorced earlier this year after six years of marriage. Today, the 32-year-old is dating Dawes singer Taylor Goldsmith.

Now, she says she and her family members are all in a good place and "exactly where they should be." "Everyone's so much happier, richer, and more fulfilled being their authentic selves," she said.

In addition to family, Moore also talks aging in the interview, saying that she has little nostalgia of her clueless teenage years in suburban Orlando. "I can't wait until the day when watching 60 Minutes is perfectly acceptable for my age," she said. "The aging process: I say bring it on."
