Mark Consuelos recently joined his wife Kelly Ripa on her daytime talk show, replacing co-host Ryan Seacrest and ushering in a new era with the name change to Live With Kelly and Mark. The couple have been having a lot of fun working together, although proceedings have bordered on chaotic at times, with both of them struggling to suppress their giggles.

And this week was no different.

On a particularly raucous segment of the Tuesday, May 10 episode of the show, Consuelos shared footage of a recent visit to the physiotherapist after he injured himself playing soccer during a visit to the Campobasso 1919 team's training ground. The actor, known for his roles on All My Children and the bonkers CW soap Riverdale, had pulled a muscle in his leg, and wore a pair of rather tight athletic shorts to get treated.

To ensure that the footage remained safe for TV, Consuelos made the decision to blur out his crotch during the entire tape, implying that his bulge was more than daytime audiences could handle—and Ripa was so unprepared for the sight that she ended up crying in laughter.

“They didn’t need to pixelate it," Consuelos explained, "but I see how everybody gets a little uproar if it’s tight shirts, so I figured I might, just to play it safe."

To be fair to Consuelos, it's usually Ripa who is showing off his body—and hers as well—to the rest of the world. The actress and TV host regularly posts thirst on main, sharing gratuitous shots of her husband's ripped physique on the beach, at the pool, and in the gym.
