A Massachusetts man is using his lottery winnings to honor someone special in his life — his dog!

Paul Riley of Peabody, Massachusetts, won $4 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery, and when he went to claim his prize on Jan. 16, he brought his dog Raven along.

He also let the pup photobomb the picture he snapped with his lottery check.

Riley won the prize in the lottery's "100X Cash" instant scratch ticket game — he chose to receive the money in a one-time payment of $2.6 million before taxes — and he has big plans for it.

Along with treating his wife to a new car, the animal lover plans to donate a portion of his winnings to the Animal Rescue League in honor of his furry friend; he told the Massachusetts State Lottery.

The Instagram post on the lottery's account featuring Riley and Raven — who looked cute and cozy in a fuzzy purple sweater — garnered quite a few fans.

"Love that he included his fur baby in [the] picture," one person commented, while another called him a "true animal lover."

Others praised Riley's decision to give back, writing, "Donating to animal shelter is [an] amazing thing to do" and "bless u for donating to our fur babies."

Riley purchased the winning $4 million ticket at Summit Variety, a Peabody store, which will receive a $40,000 bonus for the ticket sale.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, there is still one more $4 million jackpot — and six $1 million prizes — left to be claimed in the $10 instant ticket game.
