Matt Damon Revealed Ben Affleck's Been Texting Him During His Vacation with Jennifer Lopez

Ben Affleck may officially be back in a relationship with Jennifer Lopez, but that doesn't mean he has forgotten about his best friend, Matt Damon. In fact, their bromance takes priority — at least, according to Damon.

While doing the press rounds to promote his new movie Stillwater, Damon has been asked about Bennifer's recent reunion nonstop. And during an interview with Desus & Mero this week, he was specifically questioned about what it's like seeing his BFF's relationship constantly covered by the media. "Well, yeah, it's weird," Damon began, adding: "I have to say, the press was particularly terrible to them, like, 18 years ago. What's nice is that at least they're being nice this time around."

He went on to explain that despite Ben's romantic European getaway with J.Lo, he still has found time to text in between the couple's make-out sessions and boating butt grabs. "They're on vacation right now, but he still responded when I hit him up about the Red Sox yesterday," said Damon. "You still have priorities!" he joked.

Earlier this week, Matt revealed that he's a Bennifer stan, admitting he's "so happy" Ben and Jen have rekindled their romance. "He's the best. He deserves every happiness in the world," he told Extra, before clarifying, "I'm glad for both of them."

Meanwhile, Affleck and Lopez's respective exes, Jennifer Garner and Marc Anthony, are also supportive of the couple's second go-around. "Jen Garner and Marc Anthony are continuing to be supportive and there doesn't seem to be any ill will across the board," a source previously told Entertainment Tonight. "They all just want what's best for each other and their families." Even their kids are on-board with the relationship. The insider continued, "Their kids just want to see their parents happy and they are what is most important to both of them. J.Lo's kids are so glad to see their mom so in love."
