Mattel Releases Barbie x ‘Ted Lasso’ Collection With Dolls Inspired by Jason Sudeikis’ Character and More
Mattel is continuing its streak of special collaborations. Following the release of the summer blockbuster film “Barbie,” the company partnered with AppleTV+ to release a special collection inspired by “Ted Lasso” characters.
Unveiled on Tuesday, the collection features three dolls inspired by Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis), Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) and Keeley Jones (Juno Temple), from the series, which wrapped its third and final season in May.

The Ted Lasso doll showcases the coach in a signature sportswear outfit toting a soccer ball and wearing a whistle around his neck. The doll’s blue tracksuit even features the AFC Richmond logo.
The Barbie doll inspired by Waddingham’s character comes dressed in high-waist slacks and a blush pink pussy-bow blouse. To channel the hardworking character, who is the owner of the AFC Richmond soccer team, the doll even features special “action-figure” arms.
The Barbie doll inspired by Keeley Jones (Juno Temple) showcases a miniature version of the model-turned-public relations specialist character wearing a satin pink dress and a faux-fur coat overtop. On the show, Jones was known by audiences and fans for embracing glamorous and bold styles.
Executive produced by and starring Jason Sudeikis, “Ted Lasso” centered around an American football coach who accepts the task of managing a British soccer team. The critically acclaimed show won seven Primetime Emmy Awards, including one for Outstanding Comedy Series.
