Meet the 20 teams of PGA Tour, LPGA players and their families competing in the 2023 PNC Championship

Golf’s silly season continues this week with the 2023 PNC Championship, the annual hit-and-giggle that features major champions and their family members.

This year’s event will run Dec. 14-17 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando and feature 20 teams, including 18 from last year’s competition, where Vijay Singh and Qass Singh claimed a two-shot win. Out of the field this year are Gary Player and his son, Jordan, as well as Jordan Spieth and his father, Shawn. Replacing them will be Steve Stricker and his daughter, Izzi, and Retief Goosen and his son, Leo.

Stewart Cink and Reagan Cink

Stewart and his son, Connor, won the event in 2013.

Jon Daly and John Daly II

The Daly’s won the event in 2021. John II is a redshirt sophomore and plays golf at Arkansas. The pair finished T-2 last year.

David Duval and Brady Duval

Duval previously won with step-son Nick Karavites in 2016.

Nick Faldo and Matthew Faldo

The Faldos have never won the PNC Championship and finished T-15 last year.

Jim Furyk and Tanner Furyk

Furyk and son Tanner finished T-15 in 2022.

Retief Goosen and Leo Goosen

The Goosen’s were tied for first but lost in a playoff in 2019 and finished T-2.

Padraig Harrington and Ciaran Harrington

Harrington and his son, Patrick, finished fourth last year. This year he’ll tee it up with his other son, Ciaran.

Nelly Korda and Petr Korda

The world No. 5 and her father, a former tennis star, will tee it up for a third time and finished T-5 last year.

Matt Kuchar and Cameron Kuchar

The Kuchar’s finished T-5 last year and are regulars at the annual event.

Bernhard Langer and Jason Langer

Langer is a four-time winner of the PNC, including a pair of wins in 2014 and 2019 with Jason. A fifth win would tie Raymond Floyd for the most in event history.

Tom Lehman and Sean Lehman

Team Lehman is back after a stumble down the leaderboard to T-13 in 2022 after a T-5 the year prior.

Justin Leonard and Luke Leonard

Leonard previously played with his father before his son, Luke, made his first appearance last year. The pair finished T-17 last year.

Mark O’Meara and Shaun O’Meara

The O’Meara’s are back after finishes of T-8 the last two seasons.

Nick Price and Greg Price

Winless in nine attempts, Team Price is back after finishing tied for last in 2022.

The defending champions are back after a two-shot win last year.

Sorenstam has played with her father before, but her son Will made his debut in 2022, where Team Sorenstam finished T-17.

Steve Stricker and Izzi Stricker

Stricker and Izzi will make their debut this year.

Justin Thomas and Mike Thomas

Thomas and his father, Mike, won the event in 2020 and finished T-2, two shots back last year.

Lee Trevino and Daniel Trevino

Lee Trevino has played in every edition of the PNC Championship but has never won. Last year Team Trevino finished T-13.

Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods

Tiger son, Charlie, will make their fourth appearance this week. The pair finished runner-up in 2022 and T-8 last year.
