Megan Fox is being mom-shamed because her sons have long hair

Megan Fox doesn’t often post photos of her three sons, and it’s not hard to see why. The actress’s latest snapshot of two of her boys has kicked off some harsh comments from mommy shamers who don’t care for the kids’ long hair.

Fox posted the sweet pic of her eldest sons, 5-year-old Noah and 4-year-old Bodhi, enjoying a day at the beach. Both boys are wearing wetsuits, and both have long surfer-style manes.

While most fans thought the photo was adorable, some trolls couldn’t help chiming in with their unsolicited opinions about the boys.

“Girls or boys?” fired back a commenter.

“OMG your daughters are so cute!” read another comment, while another troll wrote that the “poor things look like little girls.”

Others asked why Fox, who gave birth to youngest son Journey in 2016, didn’t cut the boys’ hair to avoid gender confusion. But this isn’t the first time the former Transformers star has been criticized for her parenting. Last year, trolls questioned her decision to let Noah wear dresses and other nonbinary outfits, while others saluted her open-minded approach.

Her fans are still standing up for her right to let her kids dress and wear their hair as they like.

“WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!” one commenter wrote in response to the shaming. “It’s hair! Men/boys have sported long hair since the beginning of time,” wrote one ardent Fox fan. “You sit here and wave your fingers at men for body shaming women and here you are shaming kids. STFU and back the hell up. These are not your kids, their hair has ZERO impact on you, but your words… have impact on them. GO AWAY TROLLS.”

Another supporter added, “I love that you are encouraging your children to have their own unique look and style. It is so wonderful to see and I hope to do the same with my children if I decide to have any.”

In other words: Long hair, why do you care?
