Megan Fox Wears a Sleek Black Thigh-High Leg Slit Dress With Machine Gun Kelly at 2022 Billboard Music Awards

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly leaned into hot black date night attire at the Billboard Music Awards tonight in Las Vegas, with both artists in statement dark ensembles. Fox was a bombshell in a silver flower-accented black column gown with a thigh-high leg slit. She wore her hair sleek and straight, adding in blunt bangs for the event. Kelly complemented Fox in a black cropped suit jacket and pants adorned with spikes on their sides. His silver sequin-embellished top tied his look together.

Fox addressed her and Kelly's couple dressing in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel in July 2021. It is deliberate, she told Kimmel, when asked point blank if they match on purpose.

“We do, yeah, [coordinate our outfits],” Fox said. “That’s something I started with him just because he’s such a flamboyant dresser that I can’t really pull off just the sweatpants or the yoga gear anymore. I have to like, elevate myself to his level so whatever he’s—because he’s always covered in grommets, zippers, sequins, everything’s pink, everything’s glowing. He’s always coming off of a stage show so I have to kind of match what he’s doing so we do coordinate often.”

She expanded on how Kelly has changed her style during an interview with Vogue in January. “Before it wasn’t something I was focused on or thought about,” she started. “Because as an actress I had been classified or put in the category of being a sex symbol. And publicists come in and they bring in a stylist and it’s all about dressing more seriously, so that the world will take you more seriously as an actor. But they weren’t dressing me the way in which I liked to express myself. So I kind of gave up on fashion. I was like, I don’t fucking care, whatever you put me in because I’m not going to like it anyway.

“Until I met him,” she continued. “Musicians have so much freedom to express themselves in the way that they dress. They can be so much more flamboyant than actors usually can. Prior to being famous everyone who knew me always knew that I would always wear one really insane piece, and everybody would be like, ‘you dress weird.’ And it wasn’t until I was molded and had to dress one way that I gave up on that. And being with him, obviously, he’s slightly eccentric in the way that he dresses—and that has freed me up to express myself more. And he helped hook me up with Maeve Reilly, my stylist.”
