Meghan Markle adds 2 dreamy new dresses to her maternity wardrobe

Meghan Markle is taking her maternity style to the max — or better yet, the maxi.

While sister-in-law Kate Middleton favored knee-skimming wrap dresses, empire waists, and formal dress coats during her recent pregnancy with Prince Louis, Meghan is breaking out long, loose silhouettes with a contemporary edge.

The duchess kicked off the Sydney leg of her Australian tour with Prince Harry by stepping out in a floor-sweeping, olive-green-and-brown striped sundress from Martin Grant, the same designer behind the classic trench she’s been wearing throughout her trip Down Under. She paired the Pleated Stripe Long Dress (retailing at $1,420) with $120 wedge Carina espadrilles from Castañera favorite with new mom Pippa Middleton.

But why settle for one designer maternity dress when you can have two? The 37-year-old duchess continued her (wearing) blue streak by changing into Roksanda Ilincic’s Athena dress, a midi-length, A-line crepe number in navy and sky blue. The $1,850 dress was complemented by Stuart Weitzman suede Legend heels ($375) in tan.

While roomy enough for Baby Sussex, the dresses aren’t technically designed for pregnant women — which means there’s absolutely no shame in copping Meghan’s maternity game even if you don’t have a bun in the oven.
