Meghan Markle stuns in $1,650 dress for first U.K. appearance since stepping back from royal duties

Meghan Markle is back in the U.K., and she’s as stylish as ever.
The Duchess of Sussex, looking effortlessly chic, was spotted leaving London’s Goring Hotel following a private lunch, while her husband Prince Harry exited minutes later.
Meghan and Harry are said to be staying at Frogmore House, their U.K. residence, during their stay in England. It’s believed that the couple’s nine-month-old son Archie remained behind in Canada.

The Duchess, 38, also appeared alongside Harry, 35, at the Endeavour Fund Awards on Mar. 5, marking their first official engagement together since announcing they were stepping back from royal duties nearly two months ago.
According to the Endeavour Fund’s website, the Duke and Duchess will be at the event to “celebrate the achievements of those injured in service who have taken part in remarkable sporting and adventurous challenges after experiencing injury or illness in service.”
To attend the event, Meghan and Harry coordinated in head to toe blue, with Meghan appearing in a figure-hugging $1,650 Victoria Beckham dress and suede Manolo Blahnik pumps, and Harry in a matching navy suit.
For her first look of the day, Meghan donned a $2,300 (£1,325) camel-coloured Alex Eagle wrap coat, $869 pearl-embellished Aquazzura pumps, and a classic black purse from Spanish brand Loewe, looked radiant smiling for photos despite the drizzly weather.
Though her miniature handbag may appear simple, its $1,935 price tag reveals the luxury behind the elegant style. This piece, still available to shop, is a definite investment, but its timeless silhouette guarantees that it can be worn for years to come.
