If all eyes weren't on Meghan Markle's royal tour outfits before, they are now following news that the Duchess and Duke of Sussex are expecting their first child, due in Spring 2019.

With a jam-packed schedule during their 16-day tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga, we take a look at all of the chic and sophisticated outfits Meghan wears for her time 'Down Under'.


Day 16, 31st October - Outfit 1

The first event of their final day in New Zealand was a pōwhiri - a Māori welcoming ceremony - at Te Papaiouru Marae. Seeing the couple off the special even saw the couple wearing traditional coats, and taking off their shoes inside.

For the moving proceedings Meghan wore her hair in her signature chignon, with the Stella McCartney Cady Crepe dress in midnight blue, a traditional necklace and her repeated navy Manolo Blank BB stilettos.

McCartney is a wardrobe staple for the mother-to-be, who went to the British designer for her second wedding dress.

Day 16, 31st October - Outfit 2

For their second, and most adorable, engagement of the day, the couple visited the National Kiwi Hatchery in Rainbow Springs, before meeting more locals.

The Duchess kept her hair up and wore the same shoes whilst naming two Kiwis Tihei (Maori for ‘sneeze’) and Koha (Maori for ‘gift’).

Givenchy was, of course, Markle’s choice for her main wedding dress, and she has since worn the designer a lot, even wearing the same top in green during her royal visit to Ireland.

Day 16, 31st October - Outfit 3

For her 76th and final engagement on the royal tour the no-doubt tired couple visited the suspended walkways of Redwoods Treewalk Rotura.

Looking super cosy, Meghan borrowed her handsome beau’s puffer jacket to keep herself warm, over her faithful Givenchy top, J. Crew jeans and Rothy's flats.

Day 15, 30th October - Outfit 1

On the morning of Day 15, the Duke and Duchess got down and dirty in a tense game of welly wanging, as well as some hearty gardening.

For the overcast days outdoors, Markle wore The Original Muck Boot Company’s Reign tall boots, with J.Crew jeans, a Lavender Hill t-shirt and a Karen Walker blazer.

She wore her hair up in a sensible ponytail for the event, making sure it didn't fall in her eyes.

Day 15, 30th October - Outfit 2

Post lunch and after a swift outfit change the royals met up with PM Jacinda Ardern to visit Pillars charity and meeting with Auckland locals.

The Pillars charity, which supports children whose parents are in prison, as aspecial place in the Sussex’s hearts, since the New Zealand Government donated $5000 in their name as a wedding present for the parents-to-be.

Re- wearing her nude-coloured suede Stuart Weitzman 'Legend' pumps, Markle wore another trench, and a custom Brandon Maxwell cream shift dress.

Day 15, 30th October - Outfit 3

For the last event of the day they donned their glad rags with the PM at an evening reception at the Auckland War Memorial. Held to honour guests aged from 17-25 who have made positive contributions to their communities.

Wearing the same heels as earlier in the day, she paired them with an Antonio Beradi dress she wore for her first ever event with Prince Harry - the Audi Polo Challenge in May 2017.

The Duchess surprised many by pairing the demure outfit with a shock of pink lipstick.

Day 14, 29th October - Outfit 1

The first stop of day 14 was the Maraniu Cafe in Wellington for a meeting with local youths who are working on mental health projects throughout the city.

For her second speech of the Royal Tour (which you can read in full here), the Duchess of Sussex stole the show at the closing ceremony for the Invictus Games.

With her hair in her classic messy bun, the mother-to-be spoke to the crowd about the inspiring Games, thanking the crowd for their warm welcome of her, ‘With that said, and on a very personal note, I just wanted to thank all of you for welcoming me into the Invictus family. Arriving in Fiji earlier this morning, Meghan Markle recreated her wedding day look, opting for a formal Zimmermann ivory dress with a Stephen Jones matching-coloured hat.

Day 3, 18th October - Outfit 1

Now in Melbourne for a reception at Goverment House, the expectant mother wore a navy blue Dion Lee dress, called the 'folded sail dress'. Australian designer Lee spoke to the Herald Sun about the Duchess' outing in the dress, which caused his website to crash from all its visitors.

Lee created the stylish, asymmetric dress especially for the Duchess, he explained, 'We custom-made the gown at her request and it’s so special to see the product on Meghan.

The Duchess of Sussex - who is believed to be approximately 12 weeks pregnant - also accessorised her look with a gold bracelet adorned with blue stones which once belonged to her late mother-in-law.

This isn't first time the Duchess had paid tribute to her husband's late mother with her attire.

On her wedding day on 19 May, she wore an aquamarine cocktail ring that previously belonged to Princess Diana to the wedding reception at Frogmore House. Meghan's engagement ring also includes two diamonds from Diana's personal collection.

Later in the day, the Duchess attended an afternoon reception at Admiralty House, hosted by the Governer-General Sir Peter Cosgrove.

For the occasion, the 37-year-old changed into a Brandon Maxwell khaki shirt dress (available here in red) that skimmed her small bump. She accessorised the look with the same jewellery as earlier in the day.

Maxwell is one of Meghan's go-to designers it would seem, months after the Duchess wore a beautiful yellow shift dress by the American designer for a Commonwealth Youth event in London back in July.
