Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's first kiss

“You may now kiss the bride,” didn’t come at the end of the royal wedding ceremony. Instead, it wasn’t until Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — now formally known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex — left St. George’s Chapel and were at the top of the stairs that they sealed their marriage with a quick kiss.

It’s pretty fitting that they waited until then to do so considering they smooched right in front of the floral arch that was decorated with white roses to honor Princess Diana.

After, the couple descended the stairs — members of the royal family, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their kids Prince George and Princess Charlotte waited at the top — and entered a horse-drawn carriage for their procession around Windsor.
