The royal tour of Africa continues, and while visiting the University of Johannesburg on Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex appeared solo today in order to announce a new series of gender grants from the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
The Sussexes announced on Instagram that the Duchess was also able to introduce four new scholarships with the aim of helping students study in different commonwealth countries, and providing them with the opportunity to deepen their studies abroad.
While discussing educational challenges at a round table meeting this morning, the 38-year-old new mom shared, “Sometimes access to education can seem so big, you wonder where to even begin? So you begin with one student, or one school, you simply begin. And that’s when we see change.”
In what’s quickly becoming one of her signature styles, Meghan looked stunning in a camel-coloured trench dress from Banana Republic. To complete the look, Meghan accessorized her dress with a pair of simple Stuart Weitzman pumps in a coordinating neutral shade.
