Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."

Meghan Markle spent the past several days at the Invictus Games, the sports event held in Germany and created by by her husband, Prince Harry, to honor wounded, injured and sick servicepeople. Fashionista has been following the Duchess of Sussex's outfits during the week, and her look for Saturday night's closing ceremony is a real stunner.

It's a teal-hued (or "seamoss," per the brand) Cult Gaia gown (available now for $798) made with floral embroidery and cutouts down the length of the skirt. The Duchess wore her hair in a low bun, complementing the strapless neckline. She sported the same nude heels she wore earlier in the day while presenting awards to athletes: nude Aquazarra pumps.

After a week of mostly neutral, monochromatic looks (like her all-black skinny jeans outfit or J.Crew cardigan ensemble), this was a rare, exciting splash of color.
