When it comes to fashion, the Duchess of Sussex makes it a point to show support for her favourite ethical and sustainable labels. She’s regularly seen wearing items on repeat from eco-conscious brands like Everlane and Stella McCartney, and has even been spotted in some stylish footwear made from recycled plastic.
Meghan Markle has been seen on multiple occasions in a pair of classic Point flats, by the footwear brand Rothy’s. Each pair is designed to be machine-washable, and is fabricated completely from repurposed plastic water bottles.
Just in time for spring, the brand has released a new collection of stylish sandals in two brand new silhouettes - a knotted slide, and a minimalist three-strap version. The uppers are made with Rothy’s signature knit fabric, while the insole features a matching soft footbed made of plant-based materials.
Each style comes in four colour options and retails for $165 CAD, and sizes are already selling fast. If you’re looking to pick up a pair for yourself to enjoy this season, shop the sandals below.
