Meghan Markle‘s half brother, Thomas Markle Jnr, has accused the 36-year-old of tearing her family apart just one month before the royal wedding.

Aside from her parents, Doria Radlan and Thomas Markle Snr, the bride-to-be has not invited any other members of her family to the May 19 nuptials.

In an interview with the Daily Mirror, Thomas Markle Jr revealed: “Meg likes to portray herself as a humanitarian, a people’s person and a charitable person but she is none of those things to her family.”

The 51-year-old continued, “She is giving the greatest performance of her life. She is acting phoney. Once she got into Hollywood she turned into a different person. She’s clearly forgotten her roots and her family.”

He then went on to criticise the media’s comparison between Markle and her future mother-in-law, the late Princess Diana.

He told the tabloid: “There’s a whole different side of her that has started to surface and it’s ugly to see. I’ve read that Meg wants to be like Diana. Diana was worshipped by everyone in the world. She was loved for the right reasons.”

Markle added: “That’s what Meg wants, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. She’s not genuine like Diana.”

But he is not the only member of Markle’s family to have felt royally snubbed.

Last week, Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Grant – who recently changed her surname to Markle – vented her frustration after failing to receive a wedding invitation.

She took to Twitter to write: “Out of respect and humanitarianism, the Markles should be invited if 2,000 complete strangers are.”

Markle added: “Our uncle, brother, me, best friend of 30 years, nephews. Our issue is not a matter of closeness. Family is family.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will tie the knot at St George’s Chapel on May 19 and the soon-to-be newlyweds have invited 1,200 members of the public to join them in the celebrations.
