Melania Trump brings major glamour for black-tie dinner at Blenheim Palace

First lady Melania Trump pulled out all the stops and truly dressed to impress as she and President Trump made their way to a black-tie dinner hosted by Prime Minister Theresa May at Blenheim Palace on Thursday evening.

Melania wore a pale yellow off-the shoulder gown, with ruched detailing across the bodice creating a corset effect, a full skirt, and a dramatic cape overlay.

The former model appeared to be wearing matching satin heels and kept her jewels simple, with a pair of stud earrings and her engagement ring.

The president wore a black tuxedo for the occasion as he escorted his wife from the U.S. ambassador’s London residence in Regent’s Park to the awaiting helicopter Marine One.

If Melania’s yellow look reminds you of a certain Disney princess, you are not alone. Several people on Twitter noted the similarity to Belle’s famous gown in the classic film Beauty and the Beast.

Many people just thought she looked stunning.

Blenheim Palace is the birthplace of Winston Churchill, one of Trump’s heroes and whose bust is on display in the Oval Office.

Prime Minister May will host the reception, attended by a bevy of British business leaders from a range of sectors. One person missing at the palace dinner, though, will be the queen, who will be hosting the president and first lady for tea at Windsor Castle on Friday afternoon.
