This mermaid ‘dudeoir’ shoot is absolute perfection
Joshua Varozza is a Californian bail bondsman, but he also makes one fine merman.
With full beard, tattoo sleeves and a glorious tail, Varozza is seen frolicking in the ocean and running “Baywatch”-style down the beach in a series of viral “dudeoir” photos.
If the hunky merman looks familiar, that’s because he also stared in an equally hilarious Fourth of July-themed photoshoot, both shot by photographer friend Tami Bears.
On his site, Varozza explains that the dudeoir shoots were a light-hearted project the duo created to provide some levity and respite from the U.S. elections. But what started as a tongue-in-cheek project to “make America laugh again” quickly turned into a viral sensation.
The two are currently compiling the images into a calendar, and will donate a portion of the proceeds to “Wheelers for The Wounded of California,” an organization supporting wounded veterans.
