Then & Now: Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne's Met Gala style moments
It’s the first Monday in May, and the style event we’ve been waiting for is finally here: the Met Gala. This annual black-tie affair brings together elite fashion editors, Hollywood A-listers and runway models to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
While the dress code is largely dictated by the costume exhibit’s theme, which this year happens to be “Camp,” we can always expect celebrities to sport the most outrageous outfits.
Gigi Hadid never fails to stun at the Met Gala — this year she played ice queen in a silver Michael Kors Collection jumpsuit with a custom hat and frozen-looking eyelashes.
Last year, Hadid wore a gown that glistened with subtle hues — it was inspired by a stained glass window — for the Gala's 2018 Heavenly Bodies theme.
Cara Delevingne really committed to 2015’s “China: Through the Looking Glass” theme by getting fake cherry blossom tattoos that took famous tattoo artist Keith "Bang Bang" McCurdy 11 hours to apply.
This time around, the catwalk queen embraced the Met Gala’s theme of “camp” with a colorful pin-strip jumpsuit, a bold hat and a rainbow cane.
Kendall Jenner made her Met Gala debut in 2014 with her blush mermaid-style Topshop dress. The 18-year-old complimented the elegant dress with a Chopard diamond necklace.
This year, Jenner popped with her orange flair and feathers.
