Miley Cyrus says she has 'no idea' what coronavirus pandemic is really like due to celebrity privilege
Miley Cyrus has said her privilege as a celebrity is keeping her from experiencing what the coronavirus pandemic is really like for most people.
The US singer shared that while her life had been paused for the moment, she wasn't experiencing the same struggles many are undergoing in her native US and around the world.
In a new interview with the WSJ Magazine the 27-year-old shared: "I know I'm in a unique position, and my experience with this pandemic is not like most everyone else's in my country and around the world.

"My life has been pushed pause on, but really I have no idea what this pandemic is like... I am comfortable in my space and able to put food on my table and [I am] financially stable, and that's just not the story for a lot of people."
During lockdown, Cyrus has launched Instagram live show Bright Minded which sees her chat to other stars about their lives with the singer.

However, the Hannah Montana actor shared that she hadn't got replies from some of those she'd reached out to.
But Cyrus thinks their silence may be because they feel the "same way" she does, as she remarked: "My experience is so rare, it almost doesn’t feel right to talk about.”
The series has seen the Malibu songstress generate some interesting discussions, including that of her own faith.
During a discussion with Hailey Baldwin, who speaks openly about her Christian faith, the star revealed that she had left the church she grew up in due to the way gay people were treated within it.
Cyrus, who identifies as pansexual, said friends of hers had been sent to conversion therapies resulting in her exit.
In addition, her chat with fellow former Disney star Selena Gomez in April saw a candid discussion of mental health that led to Gomez revealing her own bi-polar diagnosis.
