As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, you might find yourself shopping more for comfort over style. But for everyone that hasn’t completely committed to an around-the-clock pajama wardrobe, Mindy Kaling has confirmed that there is still hope that neither coziness nor fashion needs to be compromised.
In a recent Instagram photo, the “Mindy Project” star showed off her cow-print, heeled clogs paired with a matching, pleated, caramel maxi skirt, a patterned, V-neck, blue and white sweater vest, and a brown, leather hat-shaped purse.
“This is a bag that is also a hat and I can’t tell if it’s stupid or really fashionable, but I like it either way,” she captioned the post.

While the novelty hat bag seemed to be stealing a lot of the shine on social media, we couldn’t help but notice her footwear — shoes that have been out of style, so to speak, for quite some time. Kaling is quite the trendsetter, however, so it’s safe to say that by every indication, clogs are making a comeback and it’s happening right when we need it most.
The revival of the clog trend has been supported by several other celebrities and influencers, which means it’s only a matter of time before the rest of us are wearing them too, so why not get ahead of things?
