Miranda Kerr says she “adores” Katy Perry — the fiancée of her ex-husband Orlando Bloom — and their blended family.

The Australian supermodel, who divorced Bloom in 2013 after three years of marriage, appeared on Friday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show and gushed over Bloom and Perry, who in August, welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Daisy Dove.

Kerr, 37, and Bloom, 43, are the parents of a 9-year-old son named Flynn. Kerr has been married to Snap CEO Evan Spiegel since 2017 and they have two sons, Hart, 2, and Myles, 1.

“I adore Katy and I just feel so happy that Orlando has found someone that makes his heart so happy,” said Kerr, 37. “Because at the end of the day, for Flynn to have a happy father and a happy mother is just the most important thing, so I’m just so grateful that Orlando and Katy found each other.”

“And I’m so grateful that I found my incredible husband and just that we all really respect each other,” she added. “When we have to be together, we work it out so we have compromises that we work out together,” with Flynn as their priority.

It took time for Kerr and Bloom to fall on the same page — “When Orlando and I separated, I actually fell into a really bad depression,” the model told ELLE Canada in 2016. However, the two have mapped out a co-parenting routine that includes Perry, 36. In January, the pop star told Vogue India, “We do a lot with Flynn. We go to the movies or to amusement parks…We’re constantly doing things that are fun.”

Since their split, Bloom has spoken fondly of Kerr. “We love each other. We’re a family,” he told Katie Couric in 2013. “We’re going to be in each other’s lives for the rest of our lives. There’s no question, for the sake of our son and everything else, we’re going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn.”

Perry and Orlando met in 2016 and were engaged by 2019. "Orlando is like a sage. When we first met, he said we would pull the poison out of each other, and we really do,” the singer told Vogue India. “It’s exhausting, but we really hold each other accountable. I’ve never had a partner who was willing to go on an emotional and spiritual journey like Orlando. It’s challenging, because you’re facing all the things you don’t like about yourself. It’s like a never-ending cleanse.”

The couple briefly split in 2017, prompting Katy to write the song “Champagne Problems” for her August album Smile. As she told People, "It's a song that really talks about how intense it's gotten and how many things we have had to go through. Yes, we have problems. Everybody has challenges in a relationship. If it's a real relationship, it's going to challenge you into your best self.”

They got back together in 2018 and announced their engagement last year with an Instagram pic that showed off Perry’s flower-shaped engagement ring. In March, Perry shared her pregnancy in her music video for “Never Worn White."

Their December 2019 wedding was put on hold initially due to the coronavirus pandemic, reported Us Weekly, then again after the birth of their daughter. “Katy and Orlando’s wedding will not be taking place in 2020,” a source told the publication. “It just wasn’t meant to be. Their beautiful daughter arrived and she is their sole focus. Planning for any wedding has been put on hold. It will happen, but it’s just not something they are focused on as a couple currently.”
