This Mom Dressed Her Baby Up As Harry Potter For the Cutest Photo Shoot Ever
Lots of moms take photos of their babies every month as a way to document their first year, but photographer Kayla Glover took that idea to the next level. When her daughter Lorelai was born this past May, Glover decided to add themes to each of the monthly photo shoots-so far she's captured Lorelai as Minnie Mouse, Ash Ketchum and Cruella de Vil-but her masterpiece is this adorable baby Harry Potter photo shoot.
"I have been a fan since I was a child and still have all of my original books," Glover wrote on her blog about Harry Potter. "I used to wait in line at Wal-Mart or Barnes & Noble to get my copy at midnight on release day."
So when Lorelai turned three months old, she decided to make her monthly photo shoot a tribute to the famous boy wizard. Since Lorelai already had part of the Harry Potter look down thanks to her big eyes and brown hair, the look "was a cinch," Glover says. All she had to do was give her a pair of round glasses, a Gryffindor scarf and a wand to hold and the look was complete.
"They are still to date my favorite images of her," Glover says. "I am excited for the day that I can introduce these books to her and hope she loves them as much as I did."
So what's the next theme for Lorelai's photo shoots?
"Now that her hair has changed to red, I'm thinking I'll at some point need to make her a Weasley as well!" Glover told the Huffington Post.
