This Mom Wrote the Most Brutally Honest List of Instructions for Her Babysitter

From Woman's Day

Rather than setting unrealistic expectations, this woman decided to be frank with her new babysitter-and people are loving her for it.

One mother left quite the hilarious list of handwritten instructions for her new babysitter, which the babysitter's boyfriend, Malik Brazile, later shared on Twitter in a post that's now gone viral. (His tweet has racked up more than 16,000 retweets and 32,000 likes.) We're pretty sure it's meant to be sarcastic.

In her thorough list of directions, the mom shows off her sense of humor by telling the teenage babysitter to let the kids watch plenty of television, and eat pizza and sugar, while she snoops through the house. "I encourage the kids to watch as much TV as possible, so they leave me the hell alone," the mom wrote in her first pointer. "Feel free to do the same."

"Let the kids have as much sugar as they want, as long as they will go away," she continues. "If you want to look through my drawers, please throw away any overdue bills and gum wrappers."

And finally she ends with one spot-on piece of advice: "Do not believe anything the kids tell you." Clearly, this mom has done her own fair share of babysitting over the years, and knows what it's really like to watch the kiddos while mom is gone.

To clarify some of the points listed, Malik shared some details about his initial conversation with his girlfriend-it seems like they're not too sure about that comment about breastfeeding either! "We're still trying to figure out if that's a joke or not," Malik wrote to a commenter.
