Sometimes a wedding dress is just so gorgeous that you have to wear it again. Monica Brown has been married to her NBA-star husband Shannon Brown for six years and to celebrate their anniversary, the singer slipped right back into her gown for some (very) post-nuptial pictures.

She shared a few shots from the outdoor photo shoot on Instagram, including one with her 60 pound train spread on the grass behind her. The solo celebration is a far cry from her swanky Los Angeles wedding, which was attended by everyone from Ludacris to Carmelo Anthony. God In Everything keeps the heart smiling ….. #Grateful #LivingAndLearning #GladMyDressStillFit,” she captioned her Instagram.

In addition to slipping back into her Stephanie Rolland dress, Monica got a full squad together, including a hairstylist, makeup artist, and professional photographer to recapture her bridal magic.

“Where there is love, there is life.. Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength… While loving someone deeply gives you courage #Stronger #HappyAnniversarySB,” she wrote on another post.

According to Straight from the Tea, Monica was originally planning to auction off her dress to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation to support breast cancer. It looks like those plans changed at some point in the past six years. Hopefully, Monica found a way to keep her once in a lifetime dress and do the charity work.

Plenty of brides re-wear their wedding dresses, whether as a reminder to stay in their bridal shape or as a tribute to marriage. Samantha Burns wears her dress every year on her anniversary, regardless of whether she’s planning to spend the day on a golf course or by the pool. Janith Goedde has been married for 60 years, and she still looks beautiful in her wedding dress from 1957.

This is Monica’s first bridal anniversary shoot, but it may not be her last. With a train like that, she might just have to celebrate in her wedding dress every year.
