Country star Craig Morgan has been drumming up considerable anticipation for his new reality series, Morgan Family Strong, which offers an intimate glimpse at what life is like for a hit-making musician as well as his adventures opening and running a family store.
The series, which airs next month, will follow Morgan and his wife, Karen, daughter, Aly, and sons Kyle and Wyatt, as they embark on the journey of running their own Gallery at Morgan Farms — a business creating organic items and products from recycled materials.
In the above exclusive teaser for the series, fans get a peek into Morgan’s numerous roles — from musician to beekeeper to proud grandpa playing with his grandson Cruze on the tour bus.
It also reveals the pain that unites and anchors the family; namely, the tragic loss of son Jerry Greer, who died in a boating accident in July of 2016 at the age of 19. Morgan reveals that this is the first thing he thinks about in the morning, and the last thing at night, every day.
“People are going to see a side of me that they’ve not seen, more than anything else that I’ve ever done. Our hardships, our heartaches,” explains Morgan, regarding the frankly emotional tone of the series. “Having been an entertainer for a long time, my wife has done a great job of maintaining a sense of security around our family. We’ve opened the doors a little bit and, kinda, let everybody in.”
Morgan Family Strong premieres March 1 at 9:30 p.m. on UP TV.
