My husband hates swimwear, but he bought three pairs of these anti-chafing swim trunks.

The details
The Brisira Men’s Swim Trunks are quick-drying and have a boxer brief-style lining. The compression lining is designed to prevent chafing from both the outer swimsuit layer and the friction of the wearer’s thighs rubbing together — and we all know chafe is the enemy of summertime fun.
The trunks also have pockets in the lining and zippered pockets in the outer fabric layer. They feature an elastic waist and an adjustable drawstring to keep them in place. The cropped 5” inseam is ideal for active swimmers, increasing mobility and showing off those quads at the beach.

Why they're good
Comfortable compression shorts
As a man who hates mesh linings, their boxer brief compression lining was a breath of fresh air. My husband was extremely comfortable both in the water and on dry land, lounging by the pool. As an added bonus, the additional coverage and security meant his swimsuit would stay put, especially when playing with our nieces in and out of the water. Let’s face it: there’s never a convenient time for your swimsuit to accidentally slip off.
Adjustable waistband
This is the first pair of swim trunks my husband purchased since losing almost 100 lbs and finding a swimsuit with an adjustable and comfortable waistband ranked high on his wish list. He ordered a size 36 and found the shorts are not only true to size, but he feels that the drawstring will also allow the trunks to continue to fit as he continues his weight-loss journey.
Roomy zip pockets

Lining prevents chafe

Room for improvement
Though my husband was a big fan of the zippered pockets on the trunks, he was less than impressed with the added pocket in the lining that was so prominently advertised online. Not only is the pocket not large enough to keep your phone secure while walking, we both remarked that someone could easily forget their phone was in that pocket and dive right into the pool.
Additionally, he told me that though the lining’s pocket was of no use to him, it didn’t affect the comfort or fit of the shorts—it was just an unnecessary added feature.
