NC State is no stranger to alternate uniforms during the Dave Doeren era. The Wolfpack wore a throwback look last year, a special military appreciation day uniform in 2015 and another all-black combination in 2014.

Coming off a second straight 7-6 record in 2016, NC State opens its 2017 campaign against South Carolina on Sept. 2.
