One of sports' power couples — New Jersey Devils defenceman P.K. Subban and Olympic skiing icon Lindsey Vonn — recently took to the ice at Bryant Park to do a couple of shooting drills.

The engaged couple was at a Red Bull event in the New York City park, where they were able to show off their skills in a multitude of ways.

It all started with some friendly bubble hockey, to just warm up the two competitive spirits.

The couple then took to the ice. Surrounded by onlooking fans, Subban was giving Vonn some pointers on stick handling through some pucks.

He might just have a future in coaching after his career is over. The 30-year-old Devils defenceman appears to have kept the tone fairly serious through the drills.

After all that hard work, Vonn was given the chance to unleash some rubber on her fiancee.

Subban had some trouble keeping the puck out of the net, but he was able to follow up his poor goaltending with a vicious nutmeg through the legs of Vonn.

The Devils defenceman then took his turn to get some shots off with the Olympic gold medalist between the pipes.

There might just be a post-skiing goaltending career in store for Vonn, as she was able to keep the majority of Subban’s shots out of the net.

Through 27 games this season, Subban has scored two goals and five points in his first year as a Devil.
