News anchor calls out viewer who complained about her 'off-putting' long hair

A British anchorwoman is speaking out after a viewer made a complaint to the BBC about her long hair.

Journalist Tina Daheley shared the critique on her social media, along with a selfie showing off her layered locks.

“I would like the presenter on BBC Breakfast this morning to tie her hair back,” the complaint reads. “She would look so much more professional. I don’t doubt her ability but her cascading hair is off-putting.”

Daheley — who recently interviewed Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Harry in their first joint media appearance — has since deleted the post, but has commented on reactions to the hair shaming.

One supporter joked that she should be cast in a hair commercial, while another praised her for having the “most fabulous hair on TV.”
