Nicki Minaj's boob-baring Paris Fashion Week look was inspired by Picasso, not Lil' Kim

Nicki Minaj was certainly the centre of attention at the Haider Ackermann Paris Fashion Week show on Saturday.

The ‘Anaconda’ rapper opted to rock up to the event with one boob hanging out, in half a Mugler jacket and a metallic Agent Provocateaur pastie covering her nipple.

The look immediately drew comparisons to Lil’ Kim’s iconic 1999 MTV Video Music Award outfit, which controversially boasted virtually an identical, and exposing, design.

We all know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, however Lil’ Kim was reportedly not happy about Nicki stealing her look.

Although there has been no major Twitter spat, there must of been some sort of low-key beef, as shortly after Nicki took to Instagram to reveal the real inspiration behind her look.

Hint: It’s not Lil’ Kim.

In fact, Nicki just schooled us all as she shared this image of a painting by Picasso called ‘La Femme à l’Éventail’, concluding it was the painter who actually created the look all the way back in 1907.

The discovery also managed to throw some extra shade back at Lil Kim, proving, once again: Don’t mess with Minaj.
