Nicole Kidman speaks out against the pressure to look ageless

Nicole Kidman is embracing her age and wants all of her female fans to do the same! The actress recently dished about her most prized beauty secret, but also had some words of wisdom for those worried about aging.

The Oscar winner, who turned 50 in June, is the new face of Neutrogena and she’s using her platform to speak out against the pressure to look ageless – especially for women in Hollywood, “You want to have beautiful, healthy-looking skin and that’s what I think most women would desire. And, as much as we talk about anti-aging, it’s more that I want to feel vibrant,” she told E! News.

She continued: “Take care of your skin—that is number one. Sunscreen and moisture. Also, I just think love. Good love, slightly harder to get, is a really nourishing thing.”

And it looks like she gets enough of that love from her husband Keith Urban, who is also a beacon of beauty wisdom. “My husband always says to smile. It’s such a great thing, because it is so youthful."

Nicole picked up the trophy for Outstanding Lead Actress at this year's Emmys.

The actress just won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in the critically-acclaimed HBO series Big Little Lies. She, of course, dedicated the win to her country crooner husband and their two daughters Sunday, 9, and six-year-old Faith. Clutching her trophy, Nicole told her family, “I am also a mother and a wife. I have two little girls, Sunny and Faith. This is yours. I want my little girls to have this on their shelf and to look at it and go, ‘Every time my mama didn’t put me to bed, it’s because of this.’ I got something!”
