If there is anyone that knows how to be a bad-ass babe, it's Nicole Richie.
The ultimate cool-girl partnered up with Urban Decay as the face of the brand's newest mascara, TROUBLEMAKER and we can't get enough!
While the new beauty product promises to deliver super-fat and super-long lashes, it also promises to last all night -- even until the morning after. We recently talked to Nicole Richie about what it was like working with the brand and why she's a big fan of the "sex-proof" mascara.
"From the moment that I sat with them and they were talking to me about the Urban Decay girl and their message," Richie said. "It's very in line with House of Harlow's message and the girl that we go after and that message is really about defining beauty for yourself and making beauty an individual experience."
The fashion mogul's hit label, House of Harlow 1960, embodies free-spirited and unique self-expressive vibes Richie herself, often displays on the red carpet. But most importantly, Nicole Richie and Urban Decay go way back -- before the TROUBLEMAKER mascara was even born.
"When I was 14, one of my first eyeshadows was a gunmetal eyeshadow called 'Uzi,' Riche said. "I would get it from the Westside Pavillion so they've been in my life for a very long time!"
And is Richie still donning that sexy gunmetal shadow from her teen days?
"On a normal day I don't wear anything," Richie laughs. "If I need to punch it up a little bit then I'll do an undereye concealer and mascara."
But if there is one makeup tip Richie has stuck with throughout the years, it's heating up her eyelash curler.
"I heat up my eyelash curler with the blow-dryer, so my eyelashes can stay curled," Richie said. "I have long lashes but they normally stick straight .. that's my trick!"
