As a wife and mother-of-three, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is all about keeping it real.

The “Jersey Shore” star took to Instagram to proudly show off her post-baby body just two weeks after giving birth to her third child, son Angelo James LaValle.

In a post to her more than 12.5 million followers, the 31-year-old modelled a leopard print design Sequin Queen Lace-Up High Waisted Bikini from her “Snookini” collection, but managed to include a seriously relatable comment for new moms.

“#SNOOKII @thesnookishop,” the reality star captioned the mirror selfie. “If you zoom in I’m still wearing my diaper.”

Polizzi is known for her candour with fans — and she even shared a postpartum update shortly after giving birth.

“Four days postpartum and body is feeling good besides the fact that my cramps still feel like contractions!” she wrote. “Still healing but can’t wait to jump back into the gym hardcore this summer! Time to be a fit mawma again for my nuggets [sic].”

The post earned backlash from some for supposedly prioritizing fitness over enjoying her first days as a mom of three.

The criticism prompted a response from Polizzi, who added, “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but don’t attack me for wanting to become strong and fit again after my pregnancy. My boobs are leaking and pulsating, my butthole is sore and my cramps are unbearable and I’m still wearing a diaper the size of Texas. Postpartum is a b-tch. But I’m allowed to look on the bright side of things and want to get back into shape. Don’t punish me for that.”

Another famous new mom has also been making headlines for sharing the realities of life as a new mom.

Amy Schumer marked five weeks of motherhood to son Gene Fisher by sharing hilarious photos of herself hiking and napping while wearing maternity underwear.

“Five weeks,” Schumer captioned the post to Instagram. “Hospital underwear for life!”

Mesh undies, diapers — it’s all part of the miracle of life!
