Birkenstock is known for their extremely well-made and comfortable, but expensive, shoes. Luckily, their newest lightweight line has people raving.

The brand recently launched lightweight versions of two of their hugely popular shoes, Arizona and Gizeh, that all come in at under $50.

Made from EVA, which stands for ethylene vinyl acetate, these new shoes are extremely lightweight and totally waterproof, which make them perfect for summer.

With plenty of flexibility, cushioning as well as all of the great features that make the brand much loved, the new EVA sandals are likely to become your must-haves for the season.

The sandals are so popular, they’ve become an instant best-seller at Nordstrom, earning more than 1,600 customer reviews. The Arizona slides are such an in-demand pick, the retailer has added new colours in stock, including metallic silver, turquoise, fuchsia and classic black.
