RAEFORD, N.C. — A North Carolina man is being held on a $20 million bond after being charged with more than 300 counts of sex crimes involving over 130 children this year.

Joshuah Taylor Bradshaw, 30, was arrested by the FBI last week in Etta, Mississippi, the Hoke County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

Sheriff Hubert Peterkin said Hoke County detectives were dispatched Aug. 7 to investigate an alleged juvenile sexual assault. As a result of that investigation, 156 arrest warrants were obtained, the release said.

“My message to parents, pay close attention to what your children are doing at all times. Watch how much access they give their children to people whether in person or online,” said Peterkin, adding that the alleged assaults began in February.

Bradshaw is charged with 12 counts each of statutory sexual offense with a child by an adult, taking indecent liberties with children, crimes against nature andfirst-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He also is charged with 144 counts each of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

The alleged victims are as young as 5, Peterkin said. More than 133 alleged victims have been identified, the news release said. The case remains under investigation.
