The Norwegian curling team's crazy pants

The Norwegian men’s curling team is making a splash at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, not necessarily for their performances on the ice, but certainly for the latest versions of their trademark “crazy pants.”

The Scandinavian curlers have been sporting unusually loud, patterned trousers since the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver, when they took home a silver medal. The tradition continued at the Sochi Games, although in Russia the team might have won accolades for their fashion choices, but were unsuccessful in landing a spot on the podium.

This year, they seem to be pulling out all the stops. Loudmouth, the company that makes the pants, came up with special “icicle” themed trousers for the PyeongChang Games. Earlier this week, the team even broke out some special Valentine’s Day-themed pants, emblazoned with pink and red hearts. Thus we thought it was an opportune time to enjoy a “greatest hits” retrospective of the Norwegian team’s crazy curling pants over the years.
