Will Smith is inviting you to the home that made him famous.
The iconic mansion from the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” is now available for rent via Airbnb. However, its interior looks a bit different from how you might remember the set of the classic ’90s sitcom. The new design combines Smith’s favorite aesthetics from Philadelphia and Bel-Air.
“Bold graffiti art, posh interiors, timeless family portraits and Philly cheesesteaks served on silver platters will transport guests to the lap of luxury — auntie and uncle not included,” Airbnb said in a press release.
Images of the decor show vintage boom boxes and record players, photos of Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, old school sneakers and a giant bed with a golden frame.
Guests will stay in Smith’s wing of the home where they can enjoy the luxury bedroom, bathroom, dining room and poolside lounge. They also may get to walk away with a pair of those throwback Jordans — chosen visitors get to raid the Fresh Prince’s closet of ’90s outfits.
But the price is the real steal here. Five separate one-night stays will be available at just $30 a night. Each $1 represents a year since the first episode of the series aired on September 10, 1990.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there are a few caveats to who can request a booking. Only groups of two who are residents of Los Angeles County that currently live in the same house can stay at the mansion. The available dates are October 2, 5, 8, 11 and 14.
Airbnb will also be making a donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia in honor of the series.
For “Fresh Prince” fans who can’t book the stay, rest assured there’s more of the sitcom coming. HBO Max will host a 30th-anniversary reunion special featuring the original cast members. Meanwhile, NBC’s streaming service Peacock has picked up a dramatic reboot of the show called “Bel-Air.”
