  • Olivia Newton-John is currently battling stage four breast cancer.

  • On Sunday, the pop icon posted a photo of her spending a "surprise evening" with Oprah, Gayle King, and others.

  • Friends and fans couldn't help but comment about how incredible Olivia looked in the picture.

Since publicly announcing her third breast cancer diagnosis in September 2018, pop icon Olivia Newton-John has largely stayed out of the spotlight, choosing instead to take time to focus on her health and her family — which is why fans were so excited to see the Grease star take to Instagram this weekend to share a snap of her and some of her famous pals.

On Sunday evening, Olivia posted a rare personal photo to her Instagram with the caption, "Wonderful surprise evening with some special friends."

Among the "special friends" pictured in Olivia's photo are Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King, and fans and friends alike (including Olivia's close pal, actress Jane Seymour) were quick to comment on the star-studded group. "So great to see you all[.] Wish I could have been there," Jane wrote. "Oprah and Olivia Newton-John in the same pic! This is the best!" a fan also commented.

Even more impressive than the star power in the snap, however, is how happy and healthy Olivia looks in the photo — and fans flocked to Olivia's post to leave comments saying just that. "Olivia Newton John has been a favorite since I was 10. So happy to see her healthy and smiling!" one commenter wrote. "You look amazing! Glowing as always," another added. "Olivia you look fabulous," a third simply commented.

As fans know, Olivia is currently battling stage four breast cancer. Since publicly announcing her diagnosis last year, the Grease star has been very open about how she's treating her cancer "naturally" with cannabis and other herbal remedies. She's also maintained a remarkably positive outlook about her health, which she says comes from an internal commitment to having hope that she will beat the disease.

"It's really a decision," Olivia told GoodHousekeeping.com earlier this month. "I talk to my body and I thank it for every step it makes of improvement. And I thank it anyway! It's really a practice because you create your world by what you think."
